Dental services for every member of the family.

Wouldn’t it be easier to just have ONE place for the whole family to go to have all of their dental needs met? That’s what Lakeland Creek aims to offer you! From the youngest members of the family (it’s recommended that kids see a dentist before their first birthday) to the oldest and wisest, we offer all dental services under one roof — for a lifetime of healthy smiles.

Gentle Cleanings and Polishing

Regular dental cleanings are an important part of a healthy routine. We know that spending any time in a dental chair on a regular basis isn’t the most attractive idea, so we aim to make that time comfortable with advanced dental tools, like Ultrasonic Scalers and slow-speed polishers that make your cleanings more effective — meaning fewer cavities and a lower chance of gum disease — keeping your time in the dentist’s chair to a minimum!

Pediatric Dentistry

Children’s dentistry is a very special part of our practice. The earlier kids feel comfortable with the dentist, the better chance of making good dental hygiene a lifetime goal. Dr. Dankowski loves working with kids and instilling the importance of keep teeth healthy while providing the all-important dental sealants and fluoride treatments that are imperative for maintaining healthy smiles in their younger years.

Tooth Colored Fillings, Crowns and Bridges

Even with the most diligent dental habits, cavities happen. But no one else has to know! We offer tooth-colored fillings so that once we remove the cavity, the filling won’t be visible, leaving you more confident to smile!

Sometimes, if a cavity has caused too much decay, it’s necessary to strengthen the tooth with a crown. A crown is basically a cap bonded to your natural tooth. Each crown is specially made to fit your mouth, and they come in a variety of materials that fit your needs. They blend right in with the rest of your natural teeth!

We also offer bridges for our patients who need to replace a missing tooth. Crowns will be placed on each tooth next to the space, and a false tooth will be placed between, bridging the gap. This allows more functional chewing while giving you a natural-looking and complete smile.

Dental Implants

Missing teeth can be the ultimate confidence killer. Fortunately, dental implants can replace those missing teeth and both look and function, helping you to smile again!

Unlike crowns or bridges, implants actually replace the tooth root, giving a solid foundation for a replacement tooth. They’re a permanent solution, unlike crowns and bridges.

Cosmetic Dentistry

If your smile isn’t all you want it to be, we have a variety of services that can help. Dental technology has come a long way, making it possible to have a beautiful, straight smile even without braces!

Porcelain dental veneers are an easy way to cover up teeth that are discolored, chipped, uneven, or to fix a gap between two teeth. They’ll function just like your regular teeth!

Teeth whitening is another simple way to brighten up your smile. A quick office visit and you’re on your way!

Think your teeth are beyond help? You’re wrong! We offer full mouth restorations and implants that will transform your teeth into the smile of your dreams.

Tooth Extractions

While it doesn’t sound like the most attractive option, sometimes its necessary to extract a tooth for the rest of the mouth to remain happy. In the event that your wisdom teeth are coming in but causing pain or impacting other teeth, we also perform wisdom teeth extractions.

Using the latest technology, including smaller instruments and increased magnification, helps us limit the amount of pain and trauma and decrease the healing time necessary for you. We do our best to ensure the process is comfortable.

Our focus is, as always, getting you back to normal as quickly as possible!

Root Canal Therapy

What 2 words strike more fear into the heart than “root canal”? Fortunately for our patients, Dr. Dankowski specializes in making root canals, well, not exactly fun, but not a terrible experience either!

Root canals are needed when decay in a tooth reaches the root. To keep the tooth functional, it’s necessary to dig out all the decay from not only the tooth but what’s called the “pulp” in the root of the tooth. After all the junk is cleared out, the empty space is disinfected and then filled with a special material to seal it all up. Dr. Dankowski will place a temporary filling in the tooth itself, which will be replaced by a permanent filling and fitted for a crown to cap it all off.

Gum Treatment

Gum disease may sound simple, but it can be quite serious. Left untreated, gum disease can contribute to heart attacks, cancer, strokes and more! The good news is that early treatment can prevent all that. We take that a step further by offering the most state-of-the-art periodontal treatment that can restore your gums back to optimal health and stave off the more serious health risks — and the best part? It’s pain-free.

Dentures

If you’re afraid to smile or have lost some of your confidence because of missing teeth, don’t fret. We can replace those missing teeth with dentures! They’re typically removable prosthetic devices designed to replace missing teeth. You may think of dentures in an old-fashioned way, but along with the rest of dental technology, dentures now are a vast improvement over their ancestors (yes, you CAN eat regular food!). Smile, chew and speak normally!

Conscious Sedation

Although we take measures to make your visit to the dentist as stress-free as possible, we understand that some dental fear an anxiety is deep rooted, requiring a different approach. Your dental health is so important to your overall health that we want to make sure you get the treatment you need. We offer conscious sedation to our patients who need a little help to get in the dentist’s chair. This includes commonly-prescribed medications to sedate and calm a nervous patient. Dr. Dankowski is fully qualified to administer these medications and has a deep understanding of how they work as well as how they interact with other medications.

You’ll usually be awake and able to ask questions, but your anxiety will be reduced significantly.

Digital X-Rays

With all the stories about the daily radiation we face every day, you may wonder whether or not those yearly dental x-rays are really necessary. The short answer is, they are. They’re essential tools in diagnosing and preventing dental issues. The good news is that we at Lakeland Creek understand those fears, which is why we have the latest in digital x-ray technology. Digital x-rays greatly reduce your exposure to radiation while still giving us a clear picture of your oral health!

Same-Day Dental Emergencies

Severe toothache? Broken tooth? We can accommodate same-day emergency dental appointments for you! No one should have to suffer through their day with tooth pain, and the faster we can get you in to treat a problem, the better chance we have of solving it quickly!

Second Opinions

When faced with extensive dental treatment plans, you may want a second opinion. We are more than happy to give you our professional opinion so you can move forward with a big decision about dental treatment.

When you come in for your appointment, make sure to bring in the original diagnosis and any x-rays or other images. We want you to feel confident in your decision!
